I know he can drop loot, as I’ve looted him before, but only the first time and I didnt’ have the quest then. Tried it inside the Cave from start to finish I’ll try and grab something next time, but when you kill him, he immediately spawns again, so you are in constant combat or running. Each time he hasn’t dropped any loot again. I’ve killed him since about another 5-6 times, various ways. There was no quest item (as I didn’t have the quest). I killed Gren in a party before I had the quest to kill him, and he dropped loot then but I didn’t need anything. … I think it was the log out and in that probably worked. Final time, I joined in a fight that had already begun, dealing damange from outside of the cave at the start. The ~7the time, I pressed the print screen button, and the bug was gone! Magic fix! I also did a log back to main menu (to get my server name for this post). I’ve killed it inside of the cave and I’ve killed it out in the water outside of the cave. I’ve tried tanking the bear, I’ve tried DPSing the bear.
I’ve tried relogging, abandoning the quest and starting it over again. What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Not going to include a video of him not dropping something. Wasted a bunch of my time waiting for the long respawns, killing it, trying different things to fix it and I still can’t complete the quest. (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Everyone else around me is able to get the bag just fine. I kill the bear, but he doesn’t drop the loot bag so I can’t complete the quest.
